Miss Colorado USA
Miss Colorado USA 2019
Madison Dorenkamp is a 26-year-old Colorado Native that grew up in Southeastern Colorado, and now lives in Denver. She describes herself as a small-town girl at heart. Growing up Madison learned the true meaning of a strong work ethic. If she wasn’t competing in sports, she was out on her family ranch helping wherever she could. One of Madison’s favorite memories from growing up was riding horses with her brother and her dad on the weekends.
Madison is now a Marketing and Brand Developer, after graduating from Johnson and Wales University, with a degree in Hospitality management. In addition to her full-time career, Madison also teaches part time as a Pure Barre Instructor. Madison also is the creator of her own lifestyle blog which emphasizes on health and fitness. She aspires to turn her blog into a full-time career, brand, and video series. Madison authentically connects with people and uses her natural drive to motivate and encourage others in all aspects of her life.
Madison hopes to use this next year to touch the lives of others. When Madison was 13 years old, her childhood home was destroyed by a tornado in Southeastern Colorado. The Red Cross helped her family and her small town. Madison will be forever grateful for the help they received after that natural disaster and continues to raise awareness on all the work that the Red Cross continues to do.
“I have dreamt of being Miss Colorado USA for as long as I can remember, and on October 28th I made that dream a reality.”, said Madison.
Madison would like to thank her sponsors on her journey toward Miss USA. Thank you to Pit Stop of Lamar, 4 Rivers Equipment of Lamar, Napa of Lamar, Ace Tire of Lamar, Frontier Bank of Lamar, Craig Schomaker, Sherry Scofield, Jason Reedy, Caryn Scofield, Deb Pasquarella, and Papa Carl.
